Tried it today and found that as soon as a filament emerged from the punctured shell (perhaps I was a little too enthusiastic with the pricker) it was stopped.

I have one point of concern, namely that Mr. Mole does not say whether three eggs a day has a deleterious effect on throughput, not to go into detail.Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09028121782477111901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5349472.post-33931106887340984322019-10-06T18:56:00.973-07:002019-10-06T18:56:00.973-07:00Wow, I now need to proof my own name!

My concern is whether or not they crack in the boiling water, and which end is the yoke? I have a little pricker-thing which I use to puncture the shell (not too deeply!). It works well unless there is already an invisible crack in the shell. I prick the end of the egg which has been stored downwards, the precooked yoke having floated upwards. Place in boiling water and boil for 5.5 minutes.

There is no doubt that boiling eggs is a science-based art form peculiar unto itself. What fun!Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09028121782477111901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5349472.post-34344922386679092242019-10-03T23:05:39.779-07:002019-10-03T23:05:39.779-07:00This comment has been removed by the author.leftovershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14382763074245713912noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5349472.post-57433554824777917802019-10-03T13:14:54.734-07:002019-10-03T13:14:54.734-07:00Use a pressure cooker and they peel easy. Do 5:00 if you want it super-cooked. Then drop the eggs into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking.Zach Finehttp://zachfine.com/blognoreply@blogger.com
